I have decided to sell my Aston Martin Vantage. I could tell you that I have owned it for many years and it has been cherished through that time, but the reality is that I kind of bought it by accident in June this from British car auctions. It was sold with a broken windscreen (I have shown the original photos from BCA along with my recent ones) and given the cost of replacing it (2,000 pounds) everyone else must have been put off, so my bid won it. As it happens, I was lucky. It is a really lovely, clean example in the right colour. It has got a full service history with an Aston Martin main dealer service for every year, apart apart from last one which I had done in June by AM Performance in Macclesfield at the end of July. part from getting a new windscreen fitted, I have had replaced the oil pipe that runs to the gear box that was causing an oil leak (the hose from Aston Martin cost 300, AM Performance advised me that it fails on a regular basis and I should have used their aftermarket one which lasts forever - you live and learn) and I have fitted a new battery. It won't need a service or MOT until the end of July 2025. The private plate came with the car and is included in the sale - I know it should say V8 not V3 - but I didn't buy it (and skimp) and it does make the car ageless. Given that this is such a premium product, they are notoriously bad for corrosion. This had got very little. There is a tiny bit by the wing mirror. Take a look at the photos, if you want to come and look at it in the flesh, give me a call. It is stunning. It has got a few age related marks and at some point the wheels will need a refurb but it is a really pretty example and turns heads wherever it goes. It's still gone the original crystal key (1200 quid to replace) and all the others supplied with the car. It was speced with Premium Audio 700W, parking sensors, heated seats etc. There's not many 4.7 auto shift under 30k. Of those that are I think that this is the best (but I would say that), so I think that I have priced this to sell.
