Recently passed MOT with new battery installed. The Rover Mini Cooper Sport represents the final chapter in the story of the classic Mini. Built during the last year of production, the Sport combined the iconic shape with the desirable Sportspack specification, including wide arches, 13-inch alloy wheels, four auxiliary spot lamps and the distinctive full-width dashboard. Today, these final-production cars are widely regarded as some of the most collectible examples of the classic Mini. I purchased this car in November 2023. Since then it has been used sparingly (1500 miles) as a cherished hobby car, and I have regularly serviced and MoT'd it during my ownership. The Anthracite Metallic paintwork continues to present beautifully with an excellent depth of shine, complemented by bright chrome, the Silver roof and bonnet stripes, and the correct four auxiliary driving lamps. The interior is in reasonable condition considering its age and retains the character of the final Mini Cooper Sport models, with the attractive aluminium-effect dashboard and factory Sport trim. Naturally, as a 26-year-old Mini there are a few age-related imperfections that are shown in the pictures.
