Description

A rare motorhome tow package. An original 1965 English Mini Moke with Brian James Minnow/Micro Max trailer. Lightweight with a combined tow weight of 710kg including trailer. It is extremely cheap to run as it is tax and MOT exempt. It is light and easy to drive and you'll always park it in the tiniest of spaces in that Cornish village or Spanish town. It'll cruise at 60mph with excellent fuel economy. The trailer is a Brian James Minnow/Micromax with the unusual swivel up hitch/bar which means that the car on the trailer can be stored in a single small car space (less space than a Fiat 500.) It's 300kgs empty and is easily manoeuvred by hand even with the Moke on. This is a major bonus when pitching up as you can quickly unhook and push into place on site. It is well maintained with new brakes and cables in 2025. The Moke is as mechanically sound as it looks. It had a ground up bare metal restoration including Dinitrol Corroheat 4010 treatment over 10 years ago and a mechanical refresh in 2023. 1600 miles covered since restoration. Not to be confused with a later 1980s Moke, this 1960s English Moke is a rare original investment with BMIHT Heritage Certificate. When you're away on tour, you can choose to fit either two rear seats or the matching lock box that is bolted through the body. Both options included. It is dry stored. It comes with side screen panels and indoor cover. A useful feature is the genuine 60s rally style rear reversing light which is on a switch. This gives you an extra handy bright light when on site. It is a fun popular little car and practically guarantees you entry into Swinging Sixties themed festivals and shows each summer. Mature private owner. Viewing is at Lee on Solent in Hampshire. Happy to consider offers if you view the car. Willing to sell the Moke separately but not the trailer. No part exchanges please. Questions about car and trailer welcome.
