Description

2 OWNER, Triumph TR6 2500 injection 150 bhp, overdrive 2, 3 and 4th gears, CP chassis No. Home market car, Finished in its original colour Saffron. ZERO ROAD TAX TO PAY, TAX CLASS HISTORIC. (please note the tax in the running section of the add is incorrect as preloaded by Autotrader, the car is zero road tax) As just the 2nd owner, I have owned this car for the last 13 years. This TR6 is the 150 bhp model with overdrive 2, 3 and 4th. The car was supplied by L F Dove LTD of Wimbledon in September 1971, and is still very original throughout. The standard original seats are trimmed and piped in leather, the original steering wheel is included in the sale, as the car is currently fitted with a Mota lita wheel. To support its very low mileage there are MOT certs from 1978 to the present. The maintenance invoices and documents are to numerous to list, there is a file packed with them including the original Triumph passport to service. The original metal supplying dealers number plates are also present. As you can see from the photos this TR6 benefits from extremely even panel gaps, superb body work and paint. The car is stored in a heated dehumidified garage and is maintained to the highest standard. When I purchased the car it was rust free, the paint was faded and dull, so a light cosmetic respray was commissioned, the door shuts and engine compartment were not touched to preserve the originality. At the same time the seats were reupholstered in leather and Gaz shocks were fitted to the rear to give a more compliant ride. As can be seen in the photos the car benefits from the inclusion of a full tonneau cover . This is possibly the lowest ownership and lowest mileage home market, matching number TR6 available for sale. The car needs to be seen to fully appreciate its uniqueness and originality.
