Here we have this Mercedes C250 that has just arrived with us earlier this week in part exchange against a Mercedes GLC as the customer was upgrading a newer and bigger vehicle. We have given the Mercedes a 5 mile test drive and found that for the age and mileage of this car, it does actually drive pretty well! The engine starts first time, sounds fine, feels responsive and goes through the gears with no issues; the suspension feels good too with no apparent knocks or bangs. It's evident that this C-Class has had quite an easy life, the condition throughout for 142k miles is very good - the interior is tidy and the bodywork only shows age related signs of wear with nothing serious at all. The Mercedes has got a long Mot until January 2027 which is advisory free, it's HPi clear and does come with a partial service history with a few service receipts. The customer did tell us that he has self serviced the car since he purchased it in January 2023 using genuine Mercedes parts which I do believe, as it does come with a wallet of paperwork for other parts that he has had fitted himself, all of which were genuine Mercedes parts with the invoices; it's even got Mercedes branded wiper blades fitted!!
