Description
Bought in 2016, the car had been rebuilt in 1990. It has a powder coated chassis and was modified for hill climb with fast road cam, adjustable koni shocks and cross drilled front discs. It has a very good mohair soft top and a factory hardtop that gives it a very sleek look. It's been fitted out for safety will a roll cage, bucket seats and full harness belts. Superb engine rebuilt in 2026 and only just run in. All mechanical works overhauled and renewed as needed in 2025, spending 10,700 on parts and expert labour with specialist classic car companies. Engineering by Sussex Sports Cars in Lewes, and a final engine rebuild and adjustment by CCK Historic, Racing and Restoration at High Hurstwood, both in East Sussex. All invoices and parts bills are available to see. It's not a concours car for polishing and showing although it's been admired whenever I have done that. It is definately a drivers car as it runs fantastically through its four gears with overdrive working on 2,3 and 4 which lowers the revs and gives a higher top speed. I've enjoyed driving it but not pushed it over 70 as I respect the engine. It is a straight six cylinder, petrol injected, producing between 125 to 150 bhp. It has only done 899 miles since engine rebuild, so only just run in. Bodywork as seen with a few defects and sills patched up. I'm selling as I've had it since 2016 and as I'm over 70 years young it's now a bit low for me to get in and out. Time for someone else to enjoy it!
